The expansion of Archer School is so colossal that the heavy construction vehicle traffic will be equivalent to adding almost 400,000 more passenger cars on Sunset Boulevard over a three-year period. Sunset Blvd traffic congestion caused by lost backpack Archer School for Girls

A lost backpack caused police to close Sunset Boulevard for 4 hours during the November 18 morning rush. The backpack, sitting on the pavement at a parking lot between Crescent Heights and Laurel Canyon boulevards, caused alarm as a "suspicious package," Patch reports. Cement Truck Rollover Closes the 405

A cement truck rolled over on the southbound lane of the 405, shutting the highway for 3 hours. The driver suffered slight injuries when the truck spilled its cargo of wet cement across several lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on June 30.
